Minecraft End City Finder

Find the nearest end cities in your Minecraft world from its seed. The map on this page renders the End itself — central island, void gap and outer islands — with every city pinned at its exact coordinates. The finder runs the game's own island terrain check, so it only lists cities that actually generate.

End cities are the endgame's loot vault: shulkers for shulker shells, high-tier enchanted gear, and — if the city has an end ship — the elytra. Click a result to jump the map to it, copy the coordinates, and plan your gateway hops before you burn ender pearls.

How to use the end city finder

  1. Enter your seed — type or paste it into the seed box and press Go. Text seeds work too; they convert to numbers exactly like the in-game seed field.
  2. Match your version — pick the version your world was generated in. Structure positions change between versions, so this matters.
  3. Read the results — the nearest end citys appear in the panel, sorted by distance from the search point, each with exact coordinates.
  4. Jump to a result — click a result to center the map on it, then click the marker to copy its coordinates or a ready-made teleport command. Panned somewhere new? Press Search this area to look around the current view.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find an end city from my seed?
Enter your world seed and the finder lists the nearest end cities with exact coordinates on the End map. Click a result to center the map on it, then click the marker to copy the coordinates or a /tp command to use in the End.
Why are there no end cities near (0, 0)?
End cities only generate on the End's outer islands, which begin past a void gap of roughly 1,000 blocks around the central island. After defeating the ender dragon, throw an ender pearl into an end gateway to cross the gap, then head for the finder's coordinates.
Do all end cities have a ship with an elytra?
No — at most one end ship can generate per city, and many cities have none. Each direction of every tower has a 50% chance of a bridge, and a bridge has a 12.5% chance of an end ship. The ship holds an elytra and a dragon head, so check several cities from the list.
The finder shows a city but I only see a small island — why?
End cities generate on the larger outer islands, and terrain matters: this finder runs the same island-shape check the game does before placing a city. Make sure your version matches your world, and remember the city may sit on a neighboring big island a short bridge away.
Which versions have end cities?
End cities were added in Java 1.9 (the Combat Update), so the version selector on this page starts there. Positions differ between versions, so pick the version your world was generated in.
Does the end city finder work for Bedrock Edition?
Not yet — it supports Java Edition worldgen only. Bedrock worlds generate differently, so a Java result won't match a Bedrock world with the same seed.
