How this list is made
A fast any% route needs three things near spawn: a village for food and beds, a ruined portal for cheap nether access, and a stronghold that isn't half a world away. Every seed here has a village within 300 blocks, a ruined portal within 400, and its first stronghold under 2,000 blocks from spawn — the card shows the exact stronghold distance.
For practice runs, open the seed in the seed map first and plot the portal-to-stronghold line; for blind-style runs, just grab a seed and go.
Want to scout any of these worlds first? Open a seed in the interactive seed map to pan the full world, toggle structures and copy teleport commands.

Frequently asked questions
- How far is the stronghold normally?
- In Java Edition the first ring of strongholds generates 1,280 to 2,816 blocks from world origin. Seeds on this list sit at the near edge of that ring — several hundred blocks closer than a typical seed.
- Are these seeds allowed for real speedruns?
- Set-seed category runs use a community-agreed seed, and random-seed runs can't pick one — so treat these as practice seeds for routing, nether travel and stronghold navigation.
- What version are these verified for?
- Java Edition 1.21.4. Structure positions shift between major versions, so generate the world on a current 1.21 release.
