Nearest Jungle Temples
Minecraft Jungle Temple Finder
Find the nearest jungle temples in your Minecraft world from its seed. Each result is pinned on the biome map with exact coordinates — click one to jump there, copy the coordinates, or grab a ready-made /tp command. Jungle temples only generate in jungle biomes and hide under dense canopy, which makes them some of the easiest structures to walk right past.
Inside, mossy corridors hide two chests: one guarded by tripwire arrow traps, one sealed behind a three-lever puzzle. The FAQ below covers how to loot both without taking a dispenser arrow to the face.
How to use the jungle temple finder
- Enter your seed — type or paste it into the seed box and press Go. Text seeds work too; they convert to numbers exactly like the in-game seed field.
- Match your version — pick the version your world was generated in. Structure positions change between versions, so this matters.
- Read the results — the nearest jungle temples appear in the panel, sorted by distance from the search point, each with exact coordinates.
- Jump to a result — click a result to center the map on it, then click the marker to copy its coordinates or a ready-made teleport command. Panned somewhere new? Press Search this area to look around the current view.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I find a jungle temple from my seed?
- Enter your world seed and the finder lists the nearest jungle temples with exact coordinates, sorted by distance. Click a result to center the map on it, then click the marker to copy the coordinates or a /tp command.
- How do I get the loot without getting shot?
- The lower corridor hides two tripwires wired to arrow dispensers — cut the tripwire string with shears (or break the dispensers from the side) before walking through. The first chest sits behind the traps; the second is behind a wall you open by flicking the three levers in the right order, or just mine straight through the cobblestone.
- What loot do jungle temples have?
- The two chests can hold diamonds, emeralds, gold and iron ingots, enchanted books, horse armor and bones. It's modest loot, but the trap dispensers also give you free arrows and the tripwire hooks and string are yours to keep.
- Where do jungle temples generate?
- In jungle and bamboo jungle biomes (not sparse jungle), usually swallowed by the canopy — mossy cobblestone is easy to miss among the leaves, so exact coordinates help a lot. The map on this page shows the jungle areas so you can tell which results sit in deep jungle.
- Which versions have jungle temples?
- Jungle temples (jungle pyramids) were added in Java 1.3.1, so nearly every version the site supports will show them. Positions differ between versions, so pick the version your world was generated in.
- Does the jungle temple finder work for Bedrock Edition?
- Yes — flip the Java / Bedrock toggle above the map. One catch: on Bedrock, desert temples, jungle temples, witch huts and igloos all share a single placement grid and the local biome decides which one generates. So the Bedrock results are those shared candidate spots — a marked spot may turn out to be a different one of the four (or, rarely, none). Bedrock also uses a different RNG than Java, so positions differ from Java for the same seed.
