Find the nearest woodland mansions in your Minecraft world from its seed. Mansions generate only in dark forests, often far from spawn — the finder searches tens of thousands of blocks out and pins each one on an interactive map with exact coordinates, so you can plan the expedition instead of wandering.

How to use the woodland mansion finder

  1. Enter your seed — type or paste it into the seed box and press Go. Text seeds work too; they convert to numbers exactly like the in-game seed field.
  2. Match your version — pick the version your world was generated in. Structure positions change between versions, so this matters.

Why is the nearest mansion so far away?
Woodland mansions are among the rarest structures in the game: they only generate in dark forests (and pale gardens from 1.21.5), and their placement grid is far sparser than villages or temples. Being many thousands of blocks from spawn is normal — that's exactly why a finder helps.
What loot makes mansions worth the trip?
Mansions are inhabited by evokers, which drop the totem of undying — the item that saves you from death — making them one of the only renewable sources. Rooms can also hide chests, blocks of diamond and other prizes behind their walls.
Can I find mansions in-game without a tool?
You can buy a woodland explorer map from a cartographer villager, or run /locate structure minecraft:mansion with cheats enabled — but both point at a single mansion. The finder maps the nearest ones at once, no cheats or emeralds needed.
